I created 30 photo page examples using black boxes. I have 5 images of each section so I need 2 pages of black boxes. I really like the 3 boxes on the far left side and the 2 boxes in the middle. The middleboxes are a little bit bigger than the far left boxes to show size differences, and to give it a little bit of movement.

For my section pages, I wanted something bold and round. So I decided on doing a haft circle on the haft of the pages and put the section title in the middle of the haft circle. the circle is solid black and the word is white. which makes the word pop and the circle shape is a reference to the round rings.

my title page is super simple because my section pages are really bold and my cover page is super bold too. so I wanted to do something more simple almost plan.

I didn’t want my cover page to be the same as my poster so I choose a different image. I put the logo and a quote saying “ring collection by morgan schneider”. I added a title and I realized I didn’t need one because my logo is my title.

My rings were split into 6 collections. At first, it was kinda hard but then after I got 3 collections done it became earlier.

• flip the image around so people are reading left to right not right to left
• take out the spacing in the layout of my words
• keep the words in the bright area of the poster

I choose 3 of my favorite posters out of 10. I focused more on the images than the text. made sure everything lined up and was on one side. tried not to center my text bc I tended to do that. I couldn’t choose only two posters so I’m going to print these 3 and choose 2 from that. I had fun creating these posters.

Trying to go more abstracted like using shapes or photos of my rings. The hard part of me is trying to figure out where to put the logo after I created the poster.

I got feedback to connect the “O” in both words making an 8. also testing out the fonts with that adjustment. another feedback was to change the oval shape to more of a circle instead. I ajusted the logos and it looks really good in my opinion.

I really like this assignment and the piece I picked which is “Rings”, I’m really enjoying taking pictures of the rings. My titles for the object is okay wish they were better having a hard time coming up with a title. what I have is diamonds, round, design, exception, and fashion.
